We will be posting behind the scenes pics and vids soon, as well as the full film. We are waiting to see the short-listed films before our premier! Keep you posted!

Sci Fi London 48 Hour
This weekend we completed the Sci-Fi London 48 hour comp! We are relay happy with the film and what we achieved in such a small amount of time.
Cecilby Development
Hi everyone, following a meeting of minds recently I have been inclined to do a complete rewrite of Cecilby, giving it some protagonists rather than snippets of characters we never get to know! So here is my pitch line for the new Cecilby narrative :)
'It is autumn 1940 and Tom Hanwell, accompanied by his mother Moira, has been evacuated to stay with his Grandparents in the town of Cecilby. But what awaits them and the unwitting town of Cecilby is far more malevolent than the harsh realities of war’

Cecilby 7th Draft and Rabbit updates
Right both Matt and I have been very hard at work, but sadly our personal projects have had to take a back seat due to other work commitments, and the paying of rent and bills etc etc
BUT FEAR NOT!
The ball is ever rolling closer to our end goal
Cecilby has reached its pinnacle and locked script with some very ambitious and, if I do say so myself, exquisite scenes and imagery
Rabbit will be worked on with steadily as we wish to make a start on Toby Mills
More to come

Cecilby Actors and Actresses
No, not that casting couch, get your mind out of the gutter!
While rabbit is slowly but surely being edited. We ahve begun the search for actors and actresses for roles in Cecilby. If you or anyone you know might be interested in roles please send Cvs and Showreels to: patt@pattfoad.com

Cecilby - 3rd draft complete
"...must stay indoors. I’ll say again you must stay ind-”
The 3rd draft FFF 8 part pilot web series is finished. I completed it on the train back from Sheffield and it reads very well. I already have a number of actors interested in roles and Matt has garnered interest from work colleagues while accumulating more skill in the editing suite.

Where's Wally?
George Hanwell
'Oh the screams... they hung in the air like mist... Still they linger, their cries for help cling to my clothes... What could else could I do...'
I have been hard at work writing more and more webisodes. Its top secret for now, so this is the last you'll hear on the subject for some time while we finish our first short Rabbit. Hope this photoshop teaser pic tantalises your taste buds 'til then

OMG! Tarentino said he was happy with Rabbit's progress!!!
See... Happier than a pig in shit!
And so he should! Its very promising when a poorly cut together rough draft starts to look good! With the rough cut now finished the our main priority will be to refine the cuts and make it as seamless and lovely as we dare. It is inevitable we will want to play around with colour correction etc BUT we could do this until the cows come home and not really have too much to show for it. So in summary, over the next week and onward Matt and I will be working as hard as we can, time and other projects permitted, getting Rabbit from rough draft, to workable first draft :)

Rabbit rough edit has begun!
Nom Nom Nom!
Ok! So after a number of weeks of attending to other matters the first cut of Rabbit has been given the attention it deserves. A solid 7 hours to be exact! We are around half way through the rough cut and Matt and I are pleased with the outcome at this juncture :) So far we have been graced with moments of dark humour and some decidedly loveable and loath-able characters! Its shaping up rather well.
The train back from editing in Byfleet at Jam96
We will continue to edit on Wednesday but for now the sun has set on another day...
We will as always keep you posted

After the rain
I have become really inspired by the truly magical Dame Vera Lynn. She encapsulates a real sense of hope in her uplifting voice and subject matter. Who knows? Perhaps there is a way to acquire permission to use one of her uplifting melodies as the series' theme tune
Enjoy!

Cecilby - Hard at work
I have been watching plenty of golden era British films from the 40s for inspiration and reference when writing episodes for out soon to be web series. I have written 2 drafts of potential 'webisodes'. They are shaping up very nicely :) just the right amount of tension and intrigue to warrant your interest whilst also very in keeping of the era in which we are paying homage. Watch this space!

Other projects in the works 2
The very tall tale of little Toby Mills
He was not the most popular boy in school, but nor was he without friends. He wasn’t good at sports, but he wasn’t particularly bad either. He wasn’t the brightest star in the sky, but he wasn’t particularly dim either, he was an average boy; who had average problems.
This is an original script that I have written that will turn out to be Matt and I's second outing after Rabbit. More on this as time goes on!

Other projects in the works 1
Cecilby
Dark days have fallen upon the once picturesque suburban town of Cecilby. They try to go on as normal, but how could they? How could they possibly?!
This is to be a mini series maybe 8 or 10 parts, I don't want to give away too much too soon, especially since we haven't written it yet! More on this as time goes on, watch this space :)

False Start
Engrossed
Sneaky Peak 1
Sneaky Peak 2
Ok so to cut a long story short we couldn't make a real start because Matt still has some editing work to do for Jam96. When that has been given the all clear we can begin!
Stay tuned

First things first
Panning for gold? Or discretely shitting his pants at the same time? You be the judge...
As my fellow creative associate and partner in crime Matt pointed out, we can't begin the rough edit before we sift through all the dozens of files, label them and see if they are even usable! Panning for gold everybody, panning for gold

The Edit
Behold my editor moobs!
Right people, as of next week Monday we begin the rough edit. Exciting times lie ahead! Excessive eye strain and RSI will be our companions over the up coming weeks but it's a small price to pay... at least lets hope so
Over and out!

DAY 2 - Production Stills
Hundreds and thousands of the fuckers! Writhing and huddling for warmth; I was tempted to commit mass genocide but they did squat to me, so I'll let them live... this time
Beware the Mist
The car crash scene
Really?! Still more rain!?
And rest :)
Day 2 is done and dusted. We had a far more productive day than the first, we got into the groove of things and kept a relentless pace. It also helped that rain was very minimal and decided not to bother us.
Be wery wery Qwiet, I'm huntin' for Wabbits
Time permitting we would have liked to have shot some stuff with the Rabbit but we simply didn't have any time. I donned the suit for an eye-line for Harvey (Tom Bonington) and we caught a glimpse of the Rabbit feet over the shoulder but that was largely it! So we set a date for Loui, Matt and myself to do an unofficial DAY 3 to film all of the rabbit suit

DAY 1 - Production Stills
And so the stress begins
Ollie the sound guy and Loui just chillin'
Elaine Batt (provider of morris minor traveller) with Stephen Stephens of Jam96 sorting out the jib
Don't you even dare!
Dammit!
Back on track
Cock or Ball
Cheer up its only a movie :)

Rain Rain... FUCK OFF we got enough problems as it is!
Really?! REALLY?!
Always the way, forecast says one thing, weather actually says "Um I dont know where you got that info from, but I'm about to let loose all over your sorry groggy asses! WOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo!" and so it rains.
Initially our hearts sank, the gazebo had been set up, the jib assembled, food tables and food laid our for breakfast and then you catch out of the corner of your eye the first droplet. It then progressed to a fine drizzle that began to soak everything in its wake. Very very annoying!
However it didn't get much heavier and so, after breakfast, costume and make up, we set about blocking through the opening shots with the actors.
The sodding weather set us back a whopping 3 hours! Disastrous at best when your trying to run a tight ship!
That's right rain, JOG ON!
But just when we thought the shoot was belly up, the drizzle disappeared and sun came out :)
-Patt
Oh the HORROR!!!!
This pretty much sums up Matt and I's feelings towards forms and paperwork
Now that the ball is well and truly rolling at this point its a question of drawing up actors agreement contracts and go about filling out the forms for insurance and written permission from Surrey County Police. Without which we wouldn't be allowed to film. A few months earlier we asked how much it would be to close the road, and with a flat rate of £2000 for the day, we thought no more of it.
However with all the forms we needed now in our grubby midst we could set about well and truly getting the show under way!

Assortment
Here is Matt getting to grips with the interior of the car. You can see the curtain of red cakes boxes (still yet to have the logos affixed). You can also see the home made map that Louise will be reading in the opening scene. Its the little things ya know? :)
